Experience Beekeeping
This experience is available from July- September on an agreed date and time. Please chat with us on whatsapp.
Your journey begins with a warm welcome, an introduction to the bees and beekeeping tools, and a safety briefing. The experience lasts for 2 hours in the sequence stated below.
- Getting ready by wearing professional beekeeper suit. ( Please include in your inquiry your suit size)
- Preparing the smoker
- Open a live beehive
- Identify the queen, workers, and drones
- Observe bee behavior and hive structure
- Learn about natural beekeeping, sustainability, and seasonal hive care
- Try your hand at smoking the hive and inspecting frames or try and use tools
- Picture taking at beehive
- Coffee or tea time – you can ask about beekeeping
- Receive your honey token
